Role Overview
Build the next generation of experiences in the Ring app.
Work on foundational and emerging customer-facing mobile experiences.
Develop native mobile software using modern platform APIs and clean architecture.
Use AI-assisted development workflows to ship better software faster.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship Ring app features, primarily in iOS and with Android contributions as needed.
- Write well-tested code focused on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Use AI tools for coding, testing, reviews, debugging, documentation, and defect resolution.
- Contribute to architecture improvements and collaborate with product, UX, backend, and platform teams.
- Resolve issues, fix bugs, improve observability, and participate in design and code reviews.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience contributing to architecture and design for new and existing systems.
- Professional, non-internship software development experience.
- Programming experience in Java, C++, C#, or another modern language with object-oriented design.
- iOS mobile application development experience in Swift.
