Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking an Appian Security Business Analyst to support Department of State and the security assessment and testing of a new software deployment.

This position is full-time-Onsite .

The selected candidate will work with development and security personnel to identify potential security shortcomings, plan corrective actions, and verify that implemented solutions resolve identified security gaps.

• Evaluate a new software deployment to identify potential cybersecurity shortcomings and security gaps.
• Collaborate with developers to analyze identified issues and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Develop remediation plans in coordination with technical team members.
• Create and execute tests to evaluate security-related software changes.
• Confirm that implemented development solutions resolve identified security gaps.
• Translate cybersecurity terminology and complex security concerns into understandable testing requirements.
