- Perform annotation and labelling of data (time series, images, videos, text) using tools such as CVAT, Label Studio, or in house platforms
- Track progress across multiple projects, identify issues, and suggest improvements to optimise the annotation process
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of annotated data by following established guidelines and standards
- Assist in preparing annotated datasets for model training by organising and cleaning labelled data
- Participate in training programmes and annotation workshops to understand requirements clearly
- Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), data scientists, ML engineers, and project managers to deliver high quality annotated datasets
- Maintain detailed records of annotation processes and provide feedback to improve labelling guidelines, QC processes, and tool configurations
Requirements
- High school diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent professional experience
- 2 5 years of relevant experience
- Good understanding of data types and annotation types (bounding boxes, polygons, segmentation, keypoints)
- Hands on experience with annotation platforms such as Label Studio, CVAT, Labelbox, or Supervisely
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise guidelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic Excel / reporting skills
- Basic understanding of AI/ML workflows is a plus
- Familiarity with Python to automate repetitive tasks is a plus

Position Summary
- As a Data Annotator, you will produce the high quality labelled datasets that underpin AIQ's AI and machine learning models.
- You will annotate time series, image, video, and text data to project guidelines, ensuring accuracy and consistency across multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent), or equivalent professional experience.
- 2 – 5 years of relevant experience.
- Good understanding of data types and annotation types (bounding boxes, polygons, segmentation, keypoints); basic understanding of AI/ML workflows is a plus.
