- Conduct comprehensive pre anesthetic evaluations and perioperative risk assessments
- Develop individualized anesthesia plans based on patient condition and surgical requirements
- Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care using evidence based clinical practices
- Continuously monitor patients during procedures and manage physiological stability
- Provide postoperative pain management and recovery care
- Support airway management and emergency resuscitation when required
- Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, nursing teams, and allied healthcare professionals
- Participate in intensive care and trauma management when clinically indicated
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and anesthesia documentation
- Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety programs
- Ensure compliance with national healthcare regulations, ethical standards, and hospital policies
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years post specialist or board certification
- Recognised specialist qualification such as American Board of Anesthesiology, UK CCT/FRCA, European Board Certification, Royal College Certification (Canada), Australian Fellowship (FANZCA), Arab Board, MD, DNB, DrNB, FCPS, or equivalent
- Eligibility for Saudi licensing authority
