Role overview

Develop and enhance native Android applications with a focus on performance, scalability, reliability, and device connectivity.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain high-performance native Android applications.
  • Build responsive interfaces and reusable components using React JS.
  • Integrate Android applications with RESTful APIs and Web Services.
  • Implement API communication, data handling, authentication, error handling, and response processing.
  • Implement and troubleshoot BLE connectivity with external devices.
  • Implement and troubleshoot Wi-Fi mirroring and casting solutions.
  • Diagnose application, connectivity, and device-related issues.
  • Perform debugging, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization.
  • Ensure compatibility across Android devices and versions.
  • Collaborate with backend, QA, product, and engineering teams.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, technical discussions, and documentation.
  • Support application releases and troubleshoot production issues.

Required technical skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in native Android application development.
  • Strong understanding of Android architecture, lifecycle, UI components, and device compatibility.
  • Experience building scalable and performance-oriented Android applications.
  • Hands-on experience with React JS and modern frontend development practices.
  • Strong experience integrating RESTful APIs or Web Services with Android applications.
  • Understanding of HTTP methods, JSON, authentication, request and response handling, and error handling.
  • Hands-on BLE implementation and troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience implementing or troubleshooting Wi-Fi mirroring or casting solutions.
