Job Overview

  • Genetec is currently seeking a Senior Data Analyst for its Customer Experience (CX) organization.
  • We are seeking a dynamic and responsive individual who can thrive in a fast paced and lively environment and transform complex data into actionable insights.
  • This role will support the CX Shared Services team as a key contributor to the entire lifecycle of reporting and analytics efforts.

Your day at a glance

  • Gather requirements for analysis, reports, and presentations from various stakeholders within the CX organization and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Design and deliver reports, KPIs, and visualizations, ensuring data integrity across multiple sources.
  • Extract, compile, and aggregate data from multiple data sources to be presented in an easy and intuitive format.
  • Compile the requirements of recurring reports for their automation in Power BI and assist with their testing once developed.
  • Develop and execute test plans, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve BI reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and internal technical teams to ensure timely delivery of data models, clear communication, and resolution of blockers.
  • Support the generation of timely and ad hoc reports based on data from different sources.
  • Work in collaboration with different departments to ensure accuracy of the reports.
  • Work on multiple initiatives at once and prioritize tasks according to the upcoming deliverables.

What makes you a great fit

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Finance, or Business with an operational analysis background, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant working experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working in reporting or analytics.
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Good time management and prioritization skills.
  • Customer oriented.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Motivated to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Fluent in French and English, both verbal and written.

Your technical expertise

  • Advanced Power BI Desktop and intermediate Power BI Service knowledge.
  • Strong proficiency in DAX (Data Analytics Expressions).
  • Experience with data extraction and manipulation using SQL queries, CRM Advanced Find, and existing Power BI reports.
  • Familiar with database and data warehousing concepts.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of CRM and Finance & Operations systems (MS Dynamics 365) is an asset.
