Responsibilities

Define ideal and practical business system solutions while driving standardization within work streams
Provide Genius ERP and Sage 300 support for complex business requirements in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Warehouse Management
Gather requirements, analyze and create functional specifications and Function Design Documents
Work with users to create and execute test cases covering multiple business scenarios
Collaborate with developers to ensure functional spec designs are understood and technically executed correctly
Participate in active partnerships with key business users to optimize system usage and best practices
Support future enhancements and strategic D365 ERP deployments and implementations globally
Develop and maintain advanced reports and dashboards using Power BI, SQL, or SSRS
Analyze and challenge existing processes and assumptions to define best solutions
Identify and implement AI driven use cases such as predictive maintenance alerts, automated data validation, or intelligent demand forecasting
Train new Business Analysts and contractors on standard work

Requirements

Bilingual French and English
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Information Technology or related field
5+ years of proven experience within manufacturing (multi national) or distribution operations
Deep functional and technical knowledge of Genius ERP and Sage 300 applications
Experience with relational databases (MS SQL) and client server concepts
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations or Customer Experience (preferred)
Experience working on a global (multi region) ERP environment (preferred)
Experience with CPQ tools and ERP integrations, ExperLogix a plus (preferred)
Experience developing comprehensive business requirements, functional design documents, and impact assessments
Excellent communication skills with all levels of an organization

Job Summary

The IT Senior Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing, specifying, proposing, and partnering with subject matter experts to define the best solutions to meet business needs using knowledge and expertise around the ERP system.
This person will apply proven communication, analytic, and problem solving skills ensuring alignment with IT and overall business transformation strategies.

What You Will Do

Defining ideal and practical business system solutions while driving standardization within the work streams.
Provide Genius ERP and Sage 300 support with complex business requirements and challenges requiring deep expertise in Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Warehouse Management.
Responsible for gathering requirements, analyzing and creating functional specifications, Function Design Documents, understanding Dynamics Finance and Operations setup and configuration options.
Working with users to create and execute test cases that cover multiple business scenarios.
Collaborating with developers to ensure functional spec designs are understood and technically executed correctly.
Participating in active partnerships with key business users to look for ways to further optimize system usage and best practices.
Active involvement in supporting future enhancements and strategic D365 ERP deployments and implementations globally.
Working across multiple locations and business partners to develop global/regional systems and process improvements.
Developing and maintaining advanced reports and dashboards using Power BI, SQL, or SSRS.
Analyzing and challenging existing processes and assumptions to help define the best solutions.
Reinforcing the business drivers to promote the usage of standard ERP functionality.
Identifying and implementing AI driven use cases, such as predictive maintenance alerts, automated data validation, or intelligent demand forecasting.

What You Need to Succeed

Bilingual French and English.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Information Technology or related field.
5+ years of proven experience within manufacturing (multi national) or distribution operations.
Deep functional and technical knowledge of the Genius ERP and Sage 300 applications.
Experience with relational databases (MS SQL) and client servers concepts.
Prefer experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations or Customer Experience applications.
Prefer experience working on a global (multi Region) ERP environment.
Prefer experience with CPQ tools and ERP integrations, experience with ExperLogix is a plus.
Experience developing comprehensive business requirements, functional design documents, completing impact assessments.
Ability to work independently as well as to collaborate effectively with others in person and remotely.
Excellent communication skills with all levels of an organization.
Team player, change agent, and customer driven mentality.

Compensation

The expected Base Salary Range: CAD 90,000 CAD 110,000.
Bonus Eligible: Yes, 10%.
Equity Eligible: No.
Holiday & PTO Pay Eligible: Yes.
Overtime Eligible: No.
