Role Overview
The position supports a major City-wide implementation of workforce management solutions for employee time capture, absence management, time and attendance, and workforce scheduling.
The role works with internal, external, and City-wide departments and reports to the Manager, Enterprise Corporate Systems.
Business and Systems Analysis
- Gather business requirements, map current and future processes, perform fit-gap analysis, and translate requirements into functional specifications.
- Define interface parameters, identify system data dependencies, approve technical specifications, and recommend software solutions.
- Support application configuration, maintenance, enhancements, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution documentation.
Testing and Project Delivery
- Prepare test strategies, test plans, test metrics, test scripts, testing schedules, defect reports, and testing status updates.
- Lead or support projects, upgrades, configuration, data validation, project documentation, and operational planning.
- Develop training materials and deliver training for system functionality, business processes, and procedures.
