We are looking for a motivated Laboratory Analyst - Grade 1 to join our Inorganics team in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career in environmental science to gain valuable hands-on experience within a busy laboratory environment.
You will play an important role in ensuring samples are tested safely, efficiently and accurately, while following established procedures and recording results in line with company standards and targets. The role requires a methodical and meticulous approach, as well as the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

The Day to Day
Understand customer requirements.
Ensure samples are completed efficiently and effectively following all process, procedures, and legislation.
Deliver on key performance indicators.
Report and understand analytical data.
Participate in the Taste and Odour panel on a rotational basis following screening.
Assist team members to achieve work objectives.
Proactively ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and procedures
Qualifications required are a minimum of five GCSEs at Grade C (equivalent to the new Grade 4) or above, which must include Chemistry (essential), as well as Mathematics and English. Applicants must also hold an A level, or equivalent qualification, in Chemistry or a closely related scientific subject, with a strong emphasis on chemical principles and laboratory practice.
