Role Overview
The Analyst Apprentice role is based in Mumbai or Pune and supports capital markets and trade lifecycle operations.
The role requires strong communication, collaboration, quality focus, and the ability to identify opportunities and concerns for stakeholders.
Shift timings may cover APAC, EMEA, or North American operating windows.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and escalate risks and promptly report outstanding issues to clients.
- Perform trade confirmation matching, trade pre-settlements support, trade position reconciliations, report generation, and cash flow settlements.
- Handle syndicated loan and corporate action setup and operations.
- Support reference data, regulatory reporting, SDR, KYC, and front-office and back-office reconciliations.
- Learn and master equity, derivative, interest rate, FX, credit, commodity, and fixed income products.
Qualification and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in B.Com, BBA, BBM, or BCA, or a master’s degree in M.Com, MBA, or PGDM.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in investment banking operations involving projects, people, process, and client management.
- Basic knowledge of finance, the trade lifecycle, investment banking, and derivatives.
- Strong logical and quantitative abilities to derive insights from data.
- Excellent time management and prompt issue resolution skills.
- Proficiency in planning, organizing, and time management.
- Proactive action and willingness to take responsibility beyond the assigned work area are a plus.
