Role overview
Amazon Global Specialty Fulfillment is hiring an operations lead for Ultra Fast Grocery operations and a newly launched fast-delivery service.
The role supports small-site operations, last-mile delivery, third-party store operations, and delivery service partners.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage daily end-to-end operations across a combination of small sites.
- Supervise last-mile operations and meet customer-facing metrics while controlling costs and maintaining safety and morale.
- Drive team performance management and prepare training and development plans for riders.
- Continuously improve delivery processes and sustain delivery performance improvements.
- Conduct daily 4M and 5S audits for the delivery station.
- Stand in for the Area Manager when required.
Basic qualifications
- Fluent spoken, written, and reading English skills are required.
- Experience implementing process improvements is required.
- Experience analyzing data and using insights to inform decision-making is required.
- Advanced Excel skills, including VBA, macros, and advanced Excel functions, are required.
Preferred qualification
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
Location requirement
- The candidate must be based out of Abu Dhabi.
