Responsibilities
- Act as a customer advocate, provide proactive services to improve health and stability of customer's on cloud IT operational health
- Bring successful operation and realization of value of Alibaba Cloud products to the customer
- Focus on increasing customer satisfaction, reducing support costs, and providing awareness for product improvements
- Understand customer's relevant business challenges while functioning as a trusted advisor for best practices and drive further adoption of Alibaba Cloud solutions
- Serve as point of contact for aftersales delivery of proactive services, best practice advice, and technical advocacy within Alibaba Cloud
- Coordinate with Account Management, support, consulting, and engineering teams to ensure technical queries are addressed timely
- Deep understanding of products and technologies to help assigned accounts avoid issues, mitigate risks, and manage changes and incidents
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 5 years of experience with solid Java development experience
- Background in IT, computer science, or cloud computing with understanding of networking, servers, storage, enterprise applications, and cloud
- Good knowledge of cloud architecture design and methodology
- Experience in customer facing positions as a technology consultant
- Experience with Microservices, Containers, and/or Serverless (Istio, Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos)
- Good understanding of major cloud computing vendors (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Self motivated, quick learner, able to work under high pressure
- Fluent in English; ability to speak and write Mandarin or Arabic at professional level is a plus

Job Description

- Understand the customer's relevant business challenges while functioning as a trusted advisor for best practices and drive further adoption of Alibaba Cloud solutions.
- Candidate with strong communication/consulting/support background and proven customer facing and relationship management skills.
- TAM will be the point of contact for aftersales delivery of proactive services, best practice advice and guidance, and being the customer's technical advocate within Alibaba Cloud.
- Coordinate with Account Management, support, consulting, and engineering teams to ensure technical queries are addressed in a timely manner.
- Deep understanding of products and technologies to help assigned accounts avoid issues, mitigate risks and manage changes and incidents.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required and a minimum of 5 years' experience, solid experience with Java development.
- Background in IT, computer science and/or cloud computing with good understanding of networking, servers, storage systems, enterprise applications and the cloud.
- Good knowledge and understanding of cloud architecture design and familiar with architecture methodology and practice in applications/websites.
- Able to demonstrate ability and experience in customer facing positions as a technology consultant.
- Strong cloud technical architecture knowledge, experienced with cloud migration, distributed system design, HA/Failover and able to design cloud system accordingly.
- Experience with Microservices, Containers and/or Serverless (including Istio, Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos tools).
- Good understanding of major cloud computing vendors, such as AWS, GCP and Microsoft Azure; knowledge on Alibaba Cloud is a plus.
- Self motivated, quick learner and able to work under high pressure.
- Fluent in English; ability to speak and write Mandarin or Arabic at professional level is a plus.
