Air Export Supervisor

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop export coordinators while managing daily workloads.
• Ensure shipments meet airline timelines, customer deadlines, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee export checks, commercial invoices, and customs declarations.
• Coordinate bookings and uplift performance with airlines, general sales agents, and handling agents.
• Monitor KPIs, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous process improvements.
• Support onboarding and training and collaborate with warehouse, import, finance, and customer service teams.

Requirements

• Proven air export operations experience, ideally in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience with the ability to coach and mentor others.
• Strong knowledge of airline requirements, cargo handling, export documentation, dangerous goods, customs, and security regulations.
• Confidence using freight systems and airline portals, with strong communication, problem-solving, influencing, and negotiation skills.
• Successful candidates must have resided in the UK for at least five years because of security clearance requirements.

Workplace and Schedule

• The position is based at the London Skyline Office.
• The working pattern is Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 18:00.
