About the Role
Basata builds AI agents that answer patient calls and process inbound clinical documents for cardiology and urology practices.
The AI Workflow Engineer works out customer-specific workflows and makes them operational across different EMRs, fax lines, and scheduling rules.
The role combines concurrent implementation project management with process design and problem solving.
Program and Project Management
- Own customer implementations from contract handoff through go-live and the stabilization period.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders throughout each project lifecycle.
- Report status clearly to internal and external teams.
- Run projects against defined phase gates and determine whether phases are ready to close.
- Improve project management office practices, best practices, and standardization.
Workflow Design and Problem Solving
- Observe current-state processes on site with the people performing the work.
- Map workflows as swimlane process maps and validate them with staff.
- Use data to diagnose process failures before designing replacements.
