Job Purpose

We are looking for an AI Transformation & Execution Lead to accompany a telecom tower infrastructure company in defining, structuring, and implementing its global AI strategy.

This role requires a hybrid profile: someone who understands business priorities, identifies high-impact AI opportunities, translates operational pain points into practical use cases, and drives execution with technical teams, business units, and leadership.

The person will act as a bridge between executive strategy, operational realities, and AI implementation from brainstorming and use case discovery to roadmap definition, solution design, vendor coordination, and deployment follow-up.

This is a hands-on transformation role, not a pure advisory or strategy position.

The successful candidate will be expected to actively drive initiatives, coordinate implementation efforts, work closely with operational teams, and help move AI use cases from concept to deployment and adoption.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. AI Strategy & Roadmap

  • Support the company in defining its global AI vision and strategic priorities.
  • Identify where AI can create measurable impact across TowerCo operations, finance, energy, field maintenance, asset management, customer/operator interfaces, and internal productivity.
  • Structure AI initiatives into a clear roadmap: quick wins, medium-term projects, and strategic transformation programs.
  • Help leadership prioritize use cases based on business value, feasibility, data availability, and operational readiness.

2. Use Case Discovery & Business Workshops

  • Lead workshops with business, technical, finance, operations, and executive teams.
  • Translate business pain points into concrete AI use cases.
  • Challenge vague AI ideas and turn them into actionable, realistic initiatives.
  • Help teams understand what AI can and cannot do, including risks, limitations, and required data foundations.
  • Document use cases with clear objectives, expected benefits, required data, stakeholders, and implementation complexity.

3. Solution Design & Execution Support

  • Translate selected use cases into functional and technical requirements.
  • Work with internal teams, vendors, and technology partners to design AI-powered solutions.
  • Support the creation of prototypes, MVPs, pilots, and production deployment plans.
  • Ensure AI solutions are aligned with real operational workflows, not just theoretical innovation.
  • Follow up on execution, track progress, remove blockers, and ensure delivery remains connected to business objectives.

4. AI Governance, Risk & Adoption

  • Help define safe and responsible AI usage principles.
  • Identify risks related to data privacy, hallucinations, automation, decision-making, and operational dependency.
  • Support the creation of internal AI governance frameworks.
  • Guide teams on human-in-the-loop workflows, validation processes, and progressive automation.
  • Drive adoption by making AI understandable and usable for non-technical teams.

5. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Act as the link between executive leadership, business departments, IT, data teams, operations, finance, and external AI providers.
  • Ensure all stakeholders are aligned on priorities, scope, expected outcomes, and timelines.
  • Prepare executive presentations, strategy notes, workshop materials, implementation documents, and decision-support content.
  • Support communication around AI transformation internally and externally.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or relevant AI / Digital Transformation certifications is considered a strong advantage.

Experience

  • 5-7+ years of professional experience across AI, technology strategy, digital transformation, product leadership, or telecom/infrastructure consulting.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on experience with AI, data, automation, machine learning, or generative AI initiatives.
  • Proven experience leading projects from discovery and business workshops to solution design, MVP/pilot execution, and production deployment follow-up.
  • Experience working with C-level leaders and cross-functional teams in complex B2B or infrastructure environments.
  • Prior exposure to telecom infrastructure, TowerCo, industrial operations, ERP/OSS environments, or field operations is considered a plus, but is not mandatory.
  • Experience evaluating and coordinating AI vendors, platforms, system integrators, or technology partners is highly valuable.

Technical

  • Strong understanding of AI, generative AI, machine learning, automation, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to translate complex AI concepts into simple, business-friendly language.
  • Ability to quickly understand operational environments and translate business problems into practical AI solutions.
  • Strong business sense and ability to identify where AI can generate real ROI.
  • Experience leading workshops, stakeholder interviews, and executive-level discussions.
  • Hands-on and execution-oriented mindset with the ability to independently drive initiatives from idea to deployment.
  • Ability to move from strategy to execution, not only provide high-level recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of operational workflows, data requirements, system integration, and implementation constraints.
  • Comfortable working with both technical teams and non-technical business leaders.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.

Ideal Background

  • Tech Founder, CTO, AI Engineer, AI product management, or digital transformation or applied AI implementation roles in B2B environments.
  • Experience building and deploying AI products in B2B environments.
  • Exposure to infrastructure, telecom, industrial, logistics, field operations, ERP/OSS systems, or other operationally intensive environments is beneficial.
  • Experience with AI assistants, predictive models, optimization systems, agentic AI, LLMs, and automation platforms.
  • Previous experience accompanying companies from ideation to pilot and production deployment.
