AI Platform Engineer

Experienced professional with 7+ years of software engineering, platform engineering or developer tooling experience.

Skilled in designing and operating developer platforms, CI/CD capabilities and engineering automation solutions.

Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, distributed systems and modern software delivery practices .

Experience building reusable platform capabilities that improve developer productivity and software quality.

Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools and engineering automation practices.

Good knowledge of AI technologies including models, agents, evaluation frameworks and automated validation tooling.

Understanding of LLM cost optimisation, including token monitoring, caching strategies and model selection considerations.

Knowledge of approaches for managing and reducing token consumption costs.Deep understanding of observability, automated testing and software delivery tooling.

Knowledge of platform security, governance and operational controls.

Strong programming, automation and problem-solving capabilities.

Passionate about improving developer experience and engineering effectiveness.

Able to apply systems thinking to solve organisational engineering challenges through reusable solutions.

Effective communicator who can collaborate with engineering teams, technical leaders and platform stakeholders.
