The Role
Design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning solutions that solve business problems and enhance product capabilities.
Build scalable, reliable, production-ready machine learning systems and independently own larger features or components.
Improve model performance, scalability, and operational excellence through engineering best practices.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead R&D efforts, develop scalable AI systems, and contribute to strategic problem-solving across teams.
- Own major project components and complex features and drive research initiatives and innovative algorithms.
- Implement advanced algorithms with awareness of tradeoffs.
- Coach team members on machine learning concepts, best practices, and procedures.
- Collaborate on high-impact projects integrating AI technologies into products and services.
- Write and review research reports and experiment results and stay current with AI trends.
Tech Stack
- Languages include Python, C/C++, and CUDA.
- AI and computer vision technologies include PyTorch, OpenCV, TensorFlow, TensorRT, and ONNX.
- Infrastructure includes Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Data technologies and workloads include real-time video processing, RTSP or video streaming, and cloud platforms.
Profile and Skills
- A minimum of seven years in a similar role managing complex technical projects is required.
- Deep understanding of machine learning and AI architectures and applications is required.
- Strong experimentation, scalability, real-time systems, problem-solving, engineering judgment, and analytical skills are required.
- The role requires designing experiments and components, implementing research algorithms, and moving projects from prototype to production.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science, machine learning, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of statistics and data analytics is required.
