The Role
The AI/ML Engineer II designs, develops, and deploys AI/ML solutions that solve business problems and enhance product capabilities.
The role builds scalable, reliable, production-ready machine learning systems and independently owns larger features or components.
The role translates research ideas into efficient solutions with practical business impact.
Job Responsibilities
- Own and deliver key machine learning components or features independently.
- Present experimental results clearly and propose design solutions.
- Optimize production efficiency and output without supervision.
- Develop tools that improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary complexity.
- Align component and feature work with project and business outcomes.
- Implement high-performance, production-quality models.
- Create reproducible pipelines and workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to documentation.
Technology Stack
- Languages include Python, C/C++, and CUDA.
- AI and computer vision technologies include PyTorch, OpenCV, TensorFlow, TensorRT, and ONNX.
- Tools and infrastructure include Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Data systems include real-time video processing, RTSP or video streaming, and cloud platforms.
Profile and Skills
- Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in a similar role managing complex technical projects.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, tuning, training, and evaluation.
- Ability to design experiments, analyze results, and present findings.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, data analysis, and statistical reasoning skills.
- Ability to implement algorithms from research papers and extend others' experimental results.
- Experience moving models from research to production with attention to latency and scalability.
- Ability to maintain code and model quality for research and long-term maintenance.
- Ability to write independent research reports and manage complex projects across departments.
