Role overview
The AI Data Engineer III reports to a Director or Senior Manager within Technology GRC.
The role builds and operates data pipelines, AI agents, and automations supporting GRC services, with a primary focus on data governance.
The work bridges GRC domain requirements and engineering execution under a human-in-the-loop model.
GRC automation
- Build and integrate agentic AI solutions within the enterprise GRC platform to standardize workflows, automate evidence collection, and improve reporting.
- Develop control automations, evidence collectors, and governance tooling to reduce manual effort.
Risk and policy automation
- Engineer AI-assisted workflows to populate, maintain, and reconcile the enterprise Risk Register.
- Automate linkage between risk entries, controls, and remediation tracking.
- Build AI-assisted tooling for policy drafting, framework crosswalks, annual reviews, and exception workflows.
Agent design and safety
- Design agentic workflows using RAG, function/tool calling, and MCP with guardrails for accuracy, confidentiality, and intellectual property boundaries.
