About the Role
Ansen Technology is looking for an AI Coding Engineer to build AI-enabled features, internal tools, automations, APIs, and workflow components. The role requires strong Python skills, experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and the ability to debug across code, data, and model issues.

Responsibilities
- Build AI enabled features, internal tools, automations, APIs, and workflow components using practical software engineering patterns
- Connect applications to databases, documents, APIs, internal systems, and data pipelines. Handle ingestion, transformation, validation, and schema aware processing
- Debug issues across application code, model responses, prompts, data, integrations, logs, and runtime environments. Help harden solutions for repeatable use
- Implement prompt workflows, RAG pipelines, tool calling, structured outputs, extraction, classification, summarization, and decision support features
- Write tests, evaluation scripts, regression checks, and feedback loops for AI workflows. Track quality, failure modes, edge cases, and model behavior over time
- Create maintainable components, shared utilities, documentation, and implementation patterns that improve speed, reliability, and consistency across AI solutions
Requirements
- Strong hands on coding experience in Python and at least one modern application development stack such as TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar
- Practical experience building AI enabled applications, automations, data workflows, APIs, integrations, or internal software tools
- Ability to convert requirements and technical designs into clean, maintainable, tested code
- Working knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, tool calling, structured outputs, and model evaluation concepts
- Strong debugging ability across code, data, API, model, and runtime issues
- Clear communication skills and ability to work closely with engineers, product managers, domain experts, and technical stakeholders
