Agentic Workplace Experience Principal

We are seeking an Agentic Technology Senior Manager to accelerate Liberty Global's adoption of AI, automation and agentic technologies across the digital workplace. We are aiming to be the leaders in the agentic workplace space, and we have a very engaged workforce expecting us to deliver best-in-class tooling to leverage maximum value. This is a senior individual contributor role combining the technical depth of a Principal Engineer, the strategic thinking of an Architect and the curiosity of an R&D lead. Reporting into the Agentic Workplace function, the Agentic Principal will identify emerging opportunities, validate new technologies and help shape the future direction of Liberty Global's AI-enabled workplace.

The role operates across two modes simultaneously. Firstly, as a highly hands-on practitioner, rapidly building prototypes, proofs of concept and technical experiments to assess feasibility, scalability, security and business value. Secondly, as a strategic technologist, identifying reusable patterns, influencing technical direction and ensuring that successful innovations can evolve into enterprise-scale capabilities.

The Agentic Technology Senior Manager will provide deep expertise across Microsoft 365, Copilot, AI platforms, automation technologies and adjacent ecosystems, acting as a trusted advisor for complex technical challenges and emerging opportunities. Working closely with engineering teams, business stakeholders, technology vendors and start-ups, the role will help Liberty Global determine where to focus its investment, accelerate AI adoption and unlock new opportunities through technology innovation.

Lead the exploration, evaluation and validation of emerging AI, agentic and workplace technologies, identifying opportunities that create measurable business and employee value.

Design, build and test prototypes, proofs of concept and technical experiments to assess feasibility, scalability, security and long-term viability.

Act as the technical authority for Microsoft 365, Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI agents, automation platforms and adjacent technologies within the Digital Employee Experience portfolio.

Identify and establish repeatable patterns, architecture and engineering approaches that enable successful prototypes to evolve into enterprise-scale capabilities.

Develop success measures and value realization frameworks for emerging AI and agentic technologies.

Shape the future direction of Liberty Global's AI-enabled workplace by translating emerging technology trends into practical opportunities and strategic recommendations.

Partner with engineering, security, architecture and operations teams to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, supportable and aligned with enterprise standards.

Work directly with technology partners, vendors, start-ups and industry communities to understand emerging capabilities, influence roadmaps and identify innovation opportunities.

Provide technical leadership and guidance on complex challenges, acting as the escalation point for problems that require deep expertise, cross-domain knowledge or unconventional thinking.

Influence technical decisions across teams through expertise, credibility and collaboration, rather than formal organisational authority.

Challenge existing assumptions, processes and technology choices, bringing fresh thinking and innovative approaches to long-standing problems.

Build business cases and recommendations for new technologies based on technical validation, adoption potential, measurable outcomes and strategic alignment.

Support the adoption and effective use of AI and agentic technologies through coaching, knowledge sharing, mentoring and technical enablement activities.

Continuously monitor developments across Microsoft, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and the broader technology ecosystem, converting emerging innovation into actionable opportunities for Liberty Global.

Help define the operating model, governance approach and technical guardrails for agentic technologies as they mature within the organisation.

Experience defining technology strategies, reference architectures and technical standards without direct management responsibility.

Experience working with emerging technologies, start-ups, innovation programmes or technology incubation initiatives.

Strong understanding of technology evaluation methodologies, experimentation frameworks and innovation lifecycle management.

Experience assessing technology trends and converting market developments into practical enterprise opportunities.

Experience developing AI agents, copilots, intelligent assistants or enterprise automation solutions.

Familiarity with responsible AI frameworks, governance models and enterprise AI adoption challenges.
