Serve as After School Program Director in the absence of the Director. This includes supervising program staff, program participants, students, volunteers, program schedules, activities, snacks, and daily student attendance, and other program responsibilities as assigned.
Be prepared to enforce licensing requirements. This includes balancing student/teacher ratios, supervision of children requirements, and completing reports, among others. • Be able to enforce Keep Safe policies. This includes being able to file incident reports utilizing organizational reporting systems.
Support the After School Program Director in tasks that are assigned.
Maintain good and accurate record keeping utilizing digital and paper filing systems.
Follow all Salvation Army KeepSAfe policies.

Experience working with school-aged children (classroom teaching experience is preferred).
High energy and the ability to work well with others.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
An understanding of child development.
Multilingual- English/Spanish/French strongly preferred
Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Infant/child and Adult CPR and First Aid certification or be willing to attain certificate within 90 days.
Must clear full background check.
Must provide health screening that includes a physical and TB results within the first 90 days.
Must be willing to support and/or lead faith-based kid’s activities and programming.
