Job Description
The Department of Civil Engineering and Construction (CEC) at Bradley University is seeking part-time online instructors to support the continued expansion of our programs. We invite qualified, innovative educators to teach online courses across the civil engineering curriculum. We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive educational environment and seek candidates who can contribute to the excellence and diversity of our faculty.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver online civil engineering courses as assigned by the Department Chair or other leadership, adhering to the established syllabus and course objectives. Online Instructor(s) may be assigned to the courses that have been already developed by others. The core content for these courses may include lecture materials, pre-recorded videos, assignments, exams, etc.
- Have a strong online presence with regular interactions with students.
- Provide timely feedback, evaluate student performance, and assist students in meeting learning objectives.
- Hold virtual help sessions and provide support to students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine curricula and ensure consistency across the program.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with departmental policies.
- Complete a short Bradley required online faculty training.
