Role Overview
Deliver network and cybersecurity engineering activities across industrial projects.
Support secure and reliable system performance from design through implementation, testing, commissioning, and customer handover.
Interface with customers on design details for non-standard solutions and agree project requirements.
Principal Responsibilities
- Ensure design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables, schedules, and budgets are available before work begins.
- Produce functional and detailed design specifications.
- Execute implementation, testing, and documentation under applicable standards and quality systems.
- Coach assigned assistant engineers and share technical knowledge with engineering teams.
- Monitor assigned work scope against the project plan and report progress, technical problems, and changes.
- Recommend quality and efficiency improvements within the engineering group.
Education and Experience
- A relevant engineering or technology bachelor's degree is preferred, including computer engineering, computer science, information technology, computing, or electrical and computer engineering.
- Relevant networking and cybersecurity certification is mandatory, including an accepted equivalent qualification.
