Role Overview
Best Ways Medical Services is seeking qualified and experienced Advanced Paramedics with a valid DOH license for its emergency medical team in Abu Dhabi.
The role provides advanced pre-hospital emergency medical care and responds to emergency and non-emergency calls.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessment and scene size-up.
- Provide BLS and ALS within the authorized scope of practice.
- Perform CPR, airway management, defibrillation, trauma care, and emergency interventions.
- Monitor vital signs and interpret ECGs.
- Provide IV access, IV fluids, oxygen therapy, and authorized medications according to protocol.
- Manage critically ill and injured patients and safely transport them.
- Complete professional hospital handovers and maintain accurate pre-hospital patient-care documentation.
- Maintain, clean, disinfect, inspect, and restock ambulances, equipment, and emergency supplies.
- Work with hospitals, dispatchers, police, fire services, and other emergency personnel.
- Follow DOH requirements, infection-control procedures, safety standards, and company policies.
- Attend continuing education and refresher training programs.
Requirements
- A valid DOH license is mandatory.
