The position will focus on product development efforts using both Additive Manufacturing (AM) and conventional manufacturing methods.
This role supports sustainment activities for aerospace and other equipment components.
At a high level, tasks include reverse engineering, CAD design, 2D drawing with focus on application of GD&T, analysis and simulation for selected components.
As well, this engineer will be responsible for the overall development effort as a "Product Owner" following all product development process steps for the project and collaborate with various groups for manufacture and qualification test, through project completion.
As well, this role is responsible for providing FEA analysis support to other team members.
Other efforts include but are not limited to development and delivery of training materials as needed, participate in various technical challenges and team support activities.
This role will be working in a highly agile environment and therefore, being a team player and having flexibility, adaptability, attention to detail are key to success.
