The role
We are looking to appoint an Administration & Support Manager on a job-share basis, to join our growing Disability Services Team with a strong commitment to delivering and promoting an ethos of excellent customer service.
The Administration & Support Manager will manage a team and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to underpin the work of Disability Services and the support delivered to disabled students.
What will you be doing?
Administration & Support Manager will report to the Disability Services Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in leading a team of professional services staff, being responsible for the development of new administrative processes plus delivering on our ethos of continuous improvement within the Service, contributing towards the University’s commitment to working with disabled students and University staff.
You will be a strong relationship builder and problem solver with experience and knowledge of financial and administrative processes and be skilled in ensuring effective and efficient delivery of a wide range of functions provided by the team. You will work with the Disability Services Manager and Senior Disability Advisers, as a member of the senior team to ensure provision of coherent, efficient, and high-quality support for students.
You will have a positive and solution focused approach to the challenges and opportunities of planning and organising the activities of the Admin & Support Team, co-ordinating on project delivery and planning the effective delivery of your team throughout the year. You will be adept in identifying work related problems within your team, identifying long term solutions and dealing with high work volumes and demands on you and your team’s time.
