*Adjunct- Electrical Systems Technology

Minimum Qualifications

• An associate’s degree in electrical engineering, Electrical Technology, or a closely related field is required. Relevant industry experience in electrical systems, industrial maintenance, or electrical installation. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related discipline. Experience in supervision, fiscal management, and human resource management. Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience in higher education or workforce development. Experience with industrial automation, PLCs, motor controls, and electrical troubleshooting. Physical Demands: Sitting or standing for extended periods of time while performing administrative tasks, attending meetings, conducting classroom observations, or performing classroom instruction. Frequent walking across campus to meet with faculty, attend events, conduct evaluations, and participate in committee activities is required. Regular use of hands and fingers for computer work, document preparation, and the use of office equipment. Occasional lifting or carrying of instructional materials, equipment, or supplies weighing up to approximately 20 pounds. Clear speech and hearing are required to communicate effectively with faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders. Visual acuity is required for reading printed and electronic materials, reviewing reports, evaluating instructional materials, and observing classroom instruction. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced academic environment
