- Develop, maintain, and enhance Commercial rating plans for property, liability, farm, and commercial automobile portfolios
- Research, extract, and analyze complex internal and external data, assessing data quality
- Support and execute rate reviews to enhance segmentation and pricing sophistication
- Support achievement of Commercial financial goals through accurate and timely pricing analysis
- Identify, investigate, and address complex commercial pricing and portfolio performance issues
- Collaborate with underwriting, product, and other business partners to align pricing solutions with strategic objectives
- Evaluate pricing methodologies and recommend improvements
- Support or lead process improvement initiatives and develop pricing and reporting solutions
- Contribute to or lead projects from end to end, including documentation and implementation
- Provide regular project updates and build strong working relationships
- Commit to continuous professional development and progression through actuarial exams
- Review peer work and provide constructive feedback
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related discipline
- Progress toward actuarial designation under CAS or CIA
- Actuarial experience in pricing is an asset
- Experience with Commercial Auto, Commercial P&C, Farm, or similar commercial products is an asset
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Excel and actuarial/analytical tools
- Experience with SQL, R, Python, or similar languages is an asset
- Experience with pricing tools (Radar, Emblem, Classifier) and/or machine learning is an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively and build trust across teams

Salary
- Actuarial Analyst: CAD 65,000 CAD 95,000
- Senior Actuarial Analyst: CAD 90,000 CAD 110,000
- Actuarial Consultant: CAD 105,000 CAD 130,000
- Senior Actuarial Consultant: CAD 120,000 CAD 145,000
- Actuarial Expert: CAD 135,000 CAD 170,000
