Role overview

Compensation

• The expected hiring range is CAD 80,000 to CAD 105,000 for a 35-hour work week.
• The role includes an annual short-term incentive program.

Responsibilities

• Work with IT and other teams to improve data quality and reporting based on analysis needs, business opportunities, and risks.
• Identify and prioritize analytical use cases and build models to answer business questions.
• Continuously improve data reporting practices, data quality, and processes.
• Prepare and present findings to diverse audiences, including partners.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in a data analytics role.
• Strong background in mathematics, statistics, or an equivalent related field.
• Experience with data analysis and modeling using SQL, R, and Python.
• Ability to translate complex information and findings for business leaders.
• Experience in property and casualty insurance is a bonus.
