Actuarial Analyst

Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or another major with quantitative course work
• At least one or more society of Actuaries exams passed
• Solid understanding of basic actuarial concepts
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Some knowledge of a statistical analysis language (SAS, R, SQL, or Python)

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Past internship or work experience with an actuarial firm doing data analysis is preferred, including with Milliman.

The Team

Location

• The Mountain Gulf Health Practice operates under one management group virtually across five locations – Denver, Houston, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, and San Francisco. This is a remote position. The expected application deadline for this job is September 18, 2026.

Compensation

• The overall salary range for this role is $60,300 - $121,555. For candidates residing in:
• Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia the salary range is $66,330 - $116,270
• New York City, Newark, San Jose, or San Francisco the salary range is $69,345 - $121,555.
• All other locations the salary range is $60,300 - $105,700
• A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc.
