Responsibilities

Oversee day to day accounting operations, including managing general ledger activities, supervising journal entries, and ensuring timely and accurate month end and year end closing.
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies.
Monitor and control fixed assets, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals, and ensure proper documentation and reconciliations.
Support budgeting and forecasting, perform variance and trend analysis.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
Implement process improvements and internal controls to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in preparing, reviewing, and analyzing Financial Statements and related reports.
Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support decision making.
Hands on experience with Journal Entries (Accounting), general ledger management, and account reconciliations.
Solid foundation in Finance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring.
Practical knowledge in managing Fixed Assets, including capitalization, tracking, and depreciation.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, SOCPA) is an advantage.
Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as strong Excel skills.
Familiarity with Saudi accounting and regulatory requirements; experience in endowment, investment, or asset management environments is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Clear and professional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and stakeholders.

Role Description

This is a full time, on site Accounting Manager role based in Riyadh.
The Accounting Manager will oversee day to day accounting operations, including managing general ledger activities, supervising journal entries, and ensuring timely and accurate month end and year end closing.
