The Accounting Manager will plan and direct the accounting activities of the department.
Duties/Responsibilities: Ensure the timely and accurate completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close process and financial reporting processes.
Ensure adherence to the company's accounting policies, and that the policies and financial statements are compliant with GAAP and any other regulatory requirements.
Partner with FP&A for the monthly review of financial results Active involvement in ERP system implementation Prepare/review account reconciliations monthly Preparation and posting of monthly journal entries to support financial statements including but not limited to inventory, fixed assets, payroll and intercompany.
Prepare and file monthly sales and use tax returns.
Prepare and file annual personal property tax returns.
Coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit.
Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required Five years or more of related experience required.
Two or more years of experience managing others.
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), auditing practices, and applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and work ethics Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times Experience with Great Plains or Microsoft D365, Quickbooks, TCR and Visual Lease preferred, but not required.
