- Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations
- Manage month end, quarter end, and year end closing processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal policies
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely preparation of audit documentation
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis activities
- Monitor financial transactions, identify risks, and recommend process improvements
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to support operational and financial objectives
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support management decision making
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, CIMA, or equivalent) preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, internal controls, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency in accounting systems, ERP platforms, Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools

Role Description
