- Oversee day to day accounting operations, including managing general ledger activities, preparing and reviewing journal entries
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Supervise the preparation of financial statements
- Monitor fixed asset registers
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations
- Review account reconciliations and analyze variances
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external auditors
- Support process improvements to strengthen financial controls and reporting quality
Requirements
- Strong skills in preparing and reviewing financial statements and managing core finance processes
- Solid analytical skills, including the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support decision making
- Practical experience with journal entries (accounting) and general ledger maintenance
- Knowledge of fixed assets accounting, including asset capitalization, depreciation, and disposals
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; relevant certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is an advantage
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
- Ability to work on site in Dubai and manage part time schedules effectively
- Experience in outsourcing/offshoring or service based industries and familiarity with UAE financial and tax regulations are beneficial

Role Description
- The Accounting Manager role is a part time, on site position based in Dubai.
- The individual oversees day to day accounting operations, including managing general ledger activities, preparing and reviewing journal entries, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Responsibilities include supervising the preparation of financial statements, monitoring fixed asset registers, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and maintaining compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations.
