About the Role
Zoomlion Australia & New Zealand is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting functions, including financial reporting, tax compliance, and business partnering.

Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports in accordance with Australian accounting standards
- Manage all facets of tax compliance (BAS, IAS, FBT, Corporate Tax)
- Prepare for annual audits and serve as primary contact for external auditors, ATO, and banks
- Assist in preparation of annual budget, monthly forecasts, and cash flow management
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to support business decisions
- Oversee daily accounting operations including AP/AR, payroll reconciliations, expense claims, bank reconciliations, and fixed asset register maintenance
- Utilise financial software to maintain robust financial controls
- Continuously seek to improve accounting processes and internal controls
Requirements
- CA or CPA qualification (or in progress) highly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in a similar accounting role within the Australian context
- Solid understanding of Australian tax law and compliance is essential
- High proficiency in MS Office Suite (advanced Excel skills required)
- Experience with major ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must hold Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship

About the Role
- We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive Accountant to join our growing finance team in Sydney.
- You will be responsible for the end to end accounting functions of our Australian subsidiary, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and providing critical support to both local management and our global headquarters.
