Responsibilities
- Record and process financial transactions accurately, including Assets, Liabilities, Expenses, Equity, and Revenue
- Maintain bookkeeping records and ensure proper accounting treatment of Prepaid Expenses, Accruals, Provisions, Deferred Revenue, and Earned Revenue
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and monitor cash transactions
- Process payments and conduct vendor reconciliations
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities
- Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation
- Ensure accurate VAT recording and reporting
- Prepare financial reports and support management with financial analysis
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial records
- Perform other accounting and finance related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ERP systems such as Odoo, QuickBooks, or similar
- Good understanding of VAT regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy

About the Role
- We are looking for a detail oriented Accountant to join our Finance team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with VAT regulations, and supporting financial reporting and audit activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA, ACCA, or MBA is a plus).
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems such as Odoo, QuickBooks, or similar.
- Good understanding of VAT regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills.
