Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and general ledger
- Record daily financial transactions and prepare journal entries
- Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Process supplier payments and customer receipts
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and supporting documentation
- Assist in VAT calculations, VAT return preparation, and ensure compliance with UAE FTA regulations
- Reconcile supplier, customer, and bank accounts
- Maintain proper filing of financial records and supporting documents
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Coordinate with management on financial reporting and budgeting when required
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 1 4 years of accounting experience in the UAE
- Good knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting practices
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Job Summary
- Seeking a dedicated and detail oriented Accountant – Financial Accountant to join the Finance team at a remote project site in Abu Dhabi.
- Responsible for handling day to day financial accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with UAE accounting standards and VAT regulations.
- Must have prior accounting experience in the UAE and be comfortable working in a remote site environment with company provided accommodation.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and general ledger.
- Record daily financial transactions and prepare journal entries.
- Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
