About the Role

Responsibilities
- Execute daily bookkeeping, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and general ledger management entirely within Odoo
- Audit and reconcile transactional data flowing between Odoo Accounting and operational modules (Inventory, Sales, Purchase, and CRM) to prevent data discrepancies
- Generate, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and year end financial statements, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports via Odoo dashboards
- Reconcile automated bank feeds, credit card transactions, and third party payment gateway payouts
- Manage statutory tax calculations, ensure proper localization settings in Odoo, and handle filings
- Lead month end and year end closing processes smoothly, ensuring all journal entries and provisions are correctly entered
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com), Accounting, or Finance
- 3–5 years of professional accounting experience
- At least 2 years of direct, hands on experience working with Odoo ERP
- Deep understanding of Odoo’s architecture, chart of accounts setup, and advanced data importing/exporting using Excel
- Solid grasp of corporate accounting standards and relevant statutory tax laws
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Inter CA, ICWA, or equivalent certifications are a major advantage

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Demographics: Female candidate.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com), Accounting, or Finance.
- Professional Credentials: Inter CA, ICWA, or equivalent certifications are a major advantage.
- Experience: 3–5 years of professional accounting experience, with at least 2 years of direct, hands on experience working with Odoo ERP.
- Software Mastery: Deep understanding of Odoo’s architecture, chart of accounts setup, and advanced data importing/exporting using Excel.
- Compliance Knowledge: Solid grasp of corporate accounting standards and relevant statutory tax laws.
