Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain rolling 8 12 week cash flow forecasts
- Monitor daily cash position and working capital
- Prepare and review monthly P&L and balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage the general ledger using Xero ERP
- Handle Accounts Receivable, collections, and Accounts Payable
- Process supplier payments and support payroll
- Assist with month end and year end close
- Coordinate with external auditors
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and UK accounting standards
- Prepare financial reports for leadership and improve finance processes
Requirements
- 3 10 years of accounting experience, preferably in a startup or technology company
- Mandatory hands on experience with Xero ERP
- Strong experience in cash flow forecasting and working capital management
- Excellent understanding of P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Knowledge of UAE VAT and UK accounting standards
- Experience working with external auditors
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, ACA, CMA) are a plus

Job Overview
- Hyrd Consulting is hiring an Accountant on behalf of a fast growing technology startup operating across the UAE, MENA, and US markets.
- We're looking for a hands on finance professional with strong Xero ERP experience who can take ownership of cash flow forecasting, financial reporting, and day to day accounting operations in a fast paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
