About the Role

Responsibilities
- Manage day to day accounting operations including bookkeeping, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Handle UAE VAT filing, returns, and compliance in line with FTA regulations
- Prepare and issue Quotations and Sales Orders (SO) for clients
- Develop and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for landscaping and planting projects
- Process and manage Requests for Quotations (RFQ) from suppliers and subcontractors
- Oversee procurement activities including purchase orders, supplier coordination, and cost tracking
- Maintain accurate records of project costs, invoices, and payments
- Prepare financial reports, profit & loss statements, and cash flow summaries
- Coordinate with project managers and site teams on budget tracking and cost control
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely collections and payments
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage petty cash
- Support external audits and ensure compliance with local regulations
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the GCC region
- Prior experience in the planting, landscaping, or construction industry is a strong advantage
- Proficient in UAE VAT filing and FTA compliance
- Hands on experience with Quotation, BOQ, RFQ, SO, and procurement documentation
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho, or similar ERP)
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel and Office tools
- Good understanding of project based costing and financial reporting
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus

About the Role
- We are a UAE based planting and landscaping company looking for a detail oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team.
- The ideal candidate has a solid GCC background, is well versed in UAE VAT regulations, and can handle the full scope of financial and procurement documentation in a project driven environment.
