Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant with minimum 2 years of UAE experience to manage daily accounting operations, financial records, and VAT-related activities.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all accounting transactions are properly recorded
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries
- Assist in monthly closing and year-end accounting activities
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with UAE regulations
- Monitor company expenses and maintain budget records
- Coordinate with external auditors, suppliers, and clients when required
- Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE financial regulations
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE
- Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting procedures
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or ERP systems
- Immediate joiners preferred
