Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant based in Doha, Qatar.

The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accurate recording of all company activities, and maintaining strong financial control across operations.

The role requires close coordination with the sales team and factory to track project costs, validate job orders, and ensure financial alignment from quotation stage to final invoicing.

The Accountant will play a key role in monitoring cash flow, managing receivables and payables, and supporting management with clear financial reporting and cost analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and record all daily financial transactions (purchases, sales, expenses, payments)
  • Coordinate with sales team to track quotations, invoices, and customer payments
  • Work closely with factory/production team to calculate job costs and monitor project profitability
  • Ensure job orders are financially approved before production begins
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, including follow-ups on outstanding payments
  • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, P&L, and cost analysis per project/site
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Ensure compliance with Qatar’s financial regulations and company policies
  • Monitor inventory-related costs and material usage in coordination with operations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum
  • 2–4 years of accounting experience in Qatar
  • (construction or trading sector preferred)
  • Strong understanding of
  • costing, project-based accounting, and operational finance
  • **Experience handling day-to-day transactions independently**
  • **Proficiency in accounting software (Daftar, Odoo , or similar) and Microsoft Excel**
  • **Familiarity with Qatar’s financial regulations and VAT (if applicable)**
  • **Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure**
  • **Good communication skills to coordinate with internal teams (sales, factory, management)**
