Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and support the company’s financial operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience with accounting systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and financial regulations
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits
- Maintain general ledger and ensure proper documentation
- Monitor inventory accounting (especially for FMCG companies)
- Use accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or similar systems)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience as an Accountant (2–5 years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
- Experience with accounting software (Tally is a plus)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills (Especially For Fmcg)
- Experience in inventory and stock accounting
- Knowledge of VAT regulations (Qatar or GCC)
- Experience with invoicing and distribution systems
- Ability to handle high-volume transactions
