Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize financial documents, invoices, receipts, contracts, and accounting records
- Ensure proper filing, tracking, and retrieval of financial documents
- Verify and process supplier invoices, customer invoices, and payment related documents
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Record daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate books of accounts
- Perform bank reconciliations and support month end closing activities
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and compliance requirements
- Coordinate with internal departments for required financial documents and approvals
- Monitor outstanding documents and follow up with relevant stakeholders
- Support the finance team in preparing reports and maintaining accounting accuracy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in accounting and document control roles
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial documentation
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Zoho Books preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Good communication and coordination skills

Position Overview
- We are looking for a detail oriented and organized Accounts Document Controller cum Accountant to join our finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize financial documents, invoices, receipts, contracts, and accounting records.
- Ensure proper filing, tracking, and retrieval of financial documents.
- Verify and process supplier invoices, customer invoices, and payment related documents.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in accounting and document control roles.
- Experience in UAE accounting practices will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (experience with Zoho Books will be an advantage).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in professional services, consulting, business setup, or corporate services industry.
- Knowledge of VAT and basic UAE compliance requirements.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
