About the Role

Responsibilities
- Manage full cycle accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Oversee job costing and track project budgets, costs, and profitability for multiple active construction projects
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Process billing and manage subcontractor payments and lien waivers
- Monitor and manage WIP (Work in Progress) schedules and over/under billing reports
- Assist with payroll processing, including certified payroll for prevailing wage projects where applicable
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, construction contracts, and internal financial controls
- Collaborate with project managers to forecast costs and track change orders
- Support year end audits and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors
- Maintain and improve accounting procedures specific to construction operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in a construction or contracting company in Dubai
- Deep knowledge of UAE VAT laws and project based accounting systems
- Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks or ERP systems
- Fluent in English

Compensation
- Pay: From AED6,000.00 per month
