Accountant

Process and administer contractor pay, including transaction processing, contract maintenance, and semi-monthly payments to contractors.

Process and manage log sales invoicing and reconciliations.

Prepare stumpage & waste accruals, payments and reconciliations.

Assist with preparation and posting accounting entries and supporting reconciliations.

Process accounts receivable transactions.

Prepare recurring internal reports and support ad hoc reporting requests.

Provide accounting support and backup coverage across BC interior divisions as required.

What You Offer

Experience: Previous experience in operational or manufacturing environments.

Education: Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or business administration (asset).

Industry Knowledge: Forest industry experience (asset).

Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Core Strengths: Detail-oriented, organized, strong communicator, problem-solver, and team-oriented self-starter.
