Job Purpose
Maintain and reconcile specific accounts.
Resolve supplier and customer dispute accounts when required.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual closing activities.
Key Accountabilities
- Prepare and record journal entries for assigned accounts in the general ledger.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation in line with company policies and financial reporting standards.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve disputes.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
- Analyze account balances and transaction trends to identify inconsistencies or potential errors.
- Assist with financial reports and schedules for audits, management reviews, and regulatory compliance.
- Support process improvement initiatives within the finance function.
Qualifications
- BA degree in Accounting or Finance.
Key Competencies
- Microsoft Excel skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
