About the Role
Simplify General Contracting LLC is seeking an Accountant with 5+ years of experience in contracting/construction. The role involves managing daily financial transactions, preparing reports, handling payroll and VAT compliance, and coordinating with auditors and suppliers.

Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions and full accounting work in QuickBooks and Excel (AP/AR, bank reconciliation, general ledger, petty cash, sales, etc.)
- Prepare payable and cheque vouchers
- Prepare financial reports and project cost reports
- Manage cash flow and assist in budgeting
- Handle and process WPS payroll, VAT/tax filing, and compliance with local regulations
- Handle and monitor petty cash
- Manage filing systems (manual and electronic) for contracts, invoices, and project documents
- Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and suppliers
- Perform other tasks as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in contracting/construction
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks or ERP systems)
- Knowledge of VAT and local financial regulations
- Strong accounting and MS Office skills (Excel, Word)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
