Role Overview
Accountant role based in Dubai, UAE.
The role supports accounting operations, reporting, budgeting, cost analysis, and internal controls.
Experience and Education
- At least three years of experience in the same field or role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in trading or manufacturing businesses is preferred.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing, journal entries, account reconciliations, and timely financial reporting.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and periodic ad hoc financial reports.
- Participate in budgets and forecasts with other departments.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable for timely processing and payment.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
- Analyze costs and expenses to identify cost reduction and efficiency opportunities.
- Assist with internal controls, accounting policy compliance, audits, and process improvements.
Required Skills and Attributes
- Strong accounting skills and understanding of the Chart of Accounts.
- SAP ECC, S/4HANA, or other ERP experience is preferred.
